These two guides (K-2 and Grades 3-12) provide guidance to curriculum providers as they modify current literacy resources or create new resources for improving student outcomes in literacy that align with the English Language Arts section of the CCSS. They also provide guidance to state, district, and school practitioners and specialists as they plan to modify or supplement current resources and plan for adoption of future resources that align with CCSS and utilize practices effective in improving K-2 and Grades 3-12 Literacy, History/Social Studies, Science, and Technical subjects’ literacy curricula.
