This resource was developed in response to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in English language arts and mathematics. It includes samples of key items that children should be learning in each grade according to CCSS, activities that parents can do at home to support their child’s learning, methods for helping parents build stronger relationships with their child’s teacher, and tips for planning for college and career. The material is derived from the CCSS but is much more accessible for parents without overwhelming them with information.
